The mission of the Montessori Teacher Education
Center San Francisco Bay Area is to provide educational programs for infant
and toddler, early childhood, elementary and administration to adults which
lead to the appropriate American Montessori Society (AMS) teacher
credential, and employment in a Montessori educational setting as a teacher
or an administrator.
The purpose
of the Montessori Teacher Education Center San Francisco
Bay Area is to provide highly qualified Montessori teachers and
administrators to Montessori schools in order to provide the personnel to
support the development of the child outside the home environment.
The objectives of the Montessori Teacher Education Center San
Francisco Bay Area is to sustain a growing and developing quality of
Montessori teachers and administrators to the communities we serve. These
objectives are met by providing quality teacher and administrator education
programs to interested individuals that meet the high credentialing
requirements of the American Montessori Society (AMS) delineated
competencies.
